Congratulations! You have found my web site. I am a fiscally conservative – socially moderate democrat .
The “Written Thoughts” pdf is a collection of “Letters to the Editor” I have sent to various newspapers and their replies. These correspondences outline my point of view on several issues with regard to our Constitution and some of the social problems we face today.
The “Additional Thoughts” pdf is a deeper dive going back forty years with short stories, screenplays, patent ideas and other communications.
My Community
There are three questions I ask concerning the life choices of others;
are they safe, are they happy, and are they a good person? (LGBTQ)
The pursuit of higher learning is said to be a human right. (trade schools and universities and colleges) I support a hand up for those who apply themselves through good grades, not a hand out of “free”, an opportunity that should not be squandered away.
Our Constitution uses the words “promote” and “provide” for the general welfare. The Social Security and Medicare Tax is the way we fulfill those ideals. To suggest reducing those benefits due to poor fiscal management by our federal legislators is appalling and disgraceful.
